Peter the Puffin

from £40.00

Subject Matter:

Meet Peter the Puffin. Did you know that a puffins beak changes colours throughout the year? In winter its beak is dull grey, and in spring it blooms with outrageous colour! Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve, or beak rather!

Anyway, these incredible colours where perfect to use my colourful inks on!

I’m calling him Peter as a nod to my amazing husband! Pete is an absolute saint to put up with me and all my quirkiness, my untidyiness and having my art supplies scattered all over the dining room table 90% of the time! He does plenty of huffing and puffin (see what I did there) about it sometimes, but he is my rock!

Print information:

‘Peter the Puffin’ is a limited edition print of an original piece of artwork that was painted in Indian Ink on Arches cold pressed watercolour paper.
This print is reproduced in giclee** on 310gsm Hahnemuhle German Etching paper, which is acid free and very age resistant.

Please note that although I have tried to capture the colours in the photos as accurately as possible, they may differ slightly from screen to screen and in person. If you are interested in purchasing a piece of art (print or original), I would recommend taking a look at it on different devices if at all possible.

**GICLEE: /ˈʒiːkleɪ/ noun / a digital printing process in which an ink-jet printer is used to produce a high-quality art print.
