A Zebra called Alice

from £40.00

Subject Matter:

Considering that Zebras have such bold patterning, it seems a bit odd that they are often overshadowed by the other animal company they keep such as elephants and giraffe. There’s something very real about zebras that I can relate to. Sometimes I feel like I just want to blend into my surroundings and go unnoticed for a little while, but you can’t. Have you ever felt that way?

Print information:

‘A Zebra called Alice’ is a print of an original piece of artwork that was painted in ink, Rooibos (redbush) tea and Tetley tea.

This print is reproduced in giclee** on 300gsm Canson Aquarelle paper. which is acid free and very age resistant.

Please note that although I have tried to capture the colours in the photos as accurately as possible, they may differ slightly from screen to screen and in person. If you are interested in purchasing a piece of art (print or original), I would recommend taking a look at it on different devices if at all possible.

**GICLEE: /ˈʒiːkleɪ/ noun / a digital printing process in which an ink-jet printer is used to produce a high-quality art print.
